Soo Sakai was born and lives in Brazil.
A Latina, feminist, self-taught artist, and single mother, she grew up close to nature and currently lives in São Paulo. In her son, she finds the main inspiration — and also the driving force behind her desire to create and illustrate stories that gently and truthfully touch people of all ages.
